Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026 · Operated by Thatgood Ltd

We only collect what we need to make PitchKitty work. We don't sell your data to third parties. If you have questions, get in touch.

1. Who we are

PitchKitty is a trading name of Thatgood Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no: 05133569). Our registered office is Southern Studios, 20 Southern Road, Thame OX9 2EP.

We are the "data controller", which means we are responsible for how your personal data is used.

When we say "PitchKitty", "we", "us" or "our", we mean Thatgood Ltd.

You can contact us via our contact form.

2. What data we collect

We collect different data depending on whether you are an organiser or a player.

If you are an organiser (account holder)

  • Name and email address – to create and manage your account
  • Login activity – to keep your account secure
  • Payment requests you create – so you can track who has paid
  • Stripe account connection details – to send payouts to your bank account

If you are a player (paying via a link)

  • Name (as you enter it) – so the organiser can see who has paid
  • Payment status and transaction reference – for receipts and organiser records
  • Payment method information – processed by Stripe (we do not see full card or bank details)

You do not need an account to make a payment as a player.

3. Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of tools to understand how PitchKitty is used so we can improve it.

  • Google Analytics – helps us understand site usage, such as page visits and user behaviour. Data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.
  • Google Tag Manager – helps us manage analytics tools. It does not collect data itself.
  • Essential cookies – required for the site to function (such as login and session management).

These tools use cookies, which are small files stored on your device. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may limit some functionality but will not stop PitchKitty from working.

4. Who we share your data with

We only share data where necessary to run PitchKitty:

  • Stripe – our payment processor. They handle all payment data securely. See stripe.com/gb/privacy
  • Google – for analytics and tag management as described above

We may also share data if required by law (for example, a court order).

We do not sell your data.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep organiser account data for as long as your account is active, and for up to 6 years afterwards where required for financial and legal record-keeping.

Payment transaction records are kept for the same period.

If you request deletion, we will remove your account where possible, but we may need to retain certain records for legal compliance.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (where legally possible)
  • Object to how we use your data
  • Request transfer of your data to another service

To exercise these rights, contact us via our contact form. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

Payments are processed by Stripe, which is PCI-compliant and handles all sensitive payment information securely.

We do not store full card or bank account details on our systems.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or via the site.

The "Last updated" date at the top shows the most recent version.

10. Complaints

If you have a concern, please contact us first and we will try to resolve it.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
