Is PitchKitty free for clubs and treasurers?
Yes, completely. No subscription, no setup fee, nothing deducted from the club. PitchKitty adds a small flat fee to the player's payment at checkout — that's it.
How much does the player pay in fees?
Players pay a small platform fee on top of the requested amount. The fee depends on the payment method and amount:

Pay by Bank is always cheaper and goes directly to your club. Your treasurer always receives the full amount requested.
Why does the fee go to the player, not the club?
Because we built PitchKitty for treasurers. If you ask for £50, you receive £50. No shortfall, no spreadsheet adjustments, no rounding up your fee requests to cover processing costs. The player pays a small, transparent fee at the moment they pay — they can see it clearly before confirming.
How do players pay?
Players simply open the payment link and pay using Pay by Bank or a debit or credit card. No app download, account creation or registration is required.
How do I collect payments?
Create a payment request, enter the amount and description, then share the link via WhatsApp, email or any messaging app. You'll see who has paid and who hasn't in real time.
Is the club's money safe?
Yes. Payments are processed securely and sent directly to your club's bank account. PitchKitty never holds club funds.
What can I collect money for?
Anything your team needs. Match fees, monthly subs, pitch hire, referee costs, kit orders, tournaments, tours and social events all work in exactly the same way.
